The National Urban Extension Leaders (NUEL) began in 2013 as a grass-roots effort of a group of passionate and committed urban Extension educators with the mission to advocate and advance the strategic importance and long-term value of urban Extension activities by being relevant locally, responsive statewide, and recognized nationally.

Join us for the Northeast NUEL Regional Meeting June 4-June 6, 2025, Hartford, CT (Registration open mid-March)!


We invite members of the Northeast region to showcase innovative programming initiatives addressing urban, suburban, and peri-urban populations.

Call for exemplary or promising Urban Extension projects or programs to be considered for Northeast NUEL Innovation Award and to present a 10-minute overview of the project/program for all attendees at the Northeast Region NUEL Meeting: NE NUEL Award for Exemplary Program & Innovation Award
