The National Urban Extension Leaders (NUEL) began in 2013 as a grass-roots effort of a group of passionate and committed urban Extension educators with the mission to advocate and advance the strategic importance and long-term value of urban Extension activities by being relevant locally, responsive statewide, and recognized nationally.

The organizing committee of the 2025 North-Central NUEL Conference is excited to announce that registration for their event is now open. The conference will be held at the Kirkwood Linn County Regional Center in Cedar Rapids/Hiawatha, IA May 27-29, 2025. Registration is $125 until May 1, then $150 per person. A block of hotel rooms has been held at the DoubleTree by Hilton - Cedar Rapids Convention Center at the rate of $119/night plus taxes and fees.
