As affordable housing becomes a growing concern, many communities and home buyers are considering manufactured housing as a solution. Home buyers may face special challenges in financing, land, zoning, and more. A new manufactured housing resource maps the locations of manufactured housing. Learn about ways that this resource can be used in your work. The research presented in the webinar was funded by the National Science Foundation (Award # 2048562).

Noah J. Durst is Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning in the School of Planning, Design, and Construction at Michigan State University. In his research, he uses quantitative methods to examine issues of land use and zoning, housing development, and housing affordability. He is an expert in manufactured housing.

Esther Sullivan is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado Denver and a Nonresident Fellow at the Urban Institute. Her research focuses on poverty, inequality, legal regulation, and the built environment, with a special interest in manufactured housing.
