The National Urban Extension Leaders (NUEL) began in 2013 as a grass-roots effort of a group of passionate and committed urban Extension educators with the mission to advocate and advance the strategic importance and long-term value of urban Extension activities by being relevant locally, responsive statewide, and recognized nationally.

+$42B Broadband Equity Access and Deployment Program and Local Project Deployment

 

Penn State Extension will be hosting  the BEAD Broadband Navigator in New York City on November 13, 2023. BEAD is a once-in-a-generation opportunity and may mean millions of dollars in broadband development for your state and local communities.

Program highlights:

  • Over $42 billion dollars in government funding is available. How can your state and local communities leverage these funds?

  • Collaboration opportunities to accelerate local broadband deployment.

  • Discover how broadband spatial analysis and mapping has helped Pennsylvania Extension, directly and assisted, securing over $500 million in additional broadband funding for the Commonwealth.
