Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program

A community for EFNEP administrators and educators to learn and share best practices for program administration and nutrition education for limited resource families.
Welcome to the new EFNEP online resource website! This site is a place for learning and collaborating to build strong EFNEP programs utilizing best practices, emerging strategies, and shared knowledge.

We invite you to browse the Blog Collections and Resource Sets to find and share useful resources across various content areas. The Topics tab is where you can ask and answer questions from your EFNEP peers. The Calendar tab will share upcoming and past webinars and online events relevant to EFNEP.

To view this site, you are not required to log into the Extension Connect site. However, in order to post resources, write blogs, or comment to this site, you must be signed in as an Extension Connect user.

We encourage EFNEP committees or working groups to consider utilizing this platform for sharing and hosting your work.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members. In 2020 and 2021, the Extension Foundation has awarded 85% of its direct funding back to the Cooperative Extension System, 100% of funds are used to support Cooperative Extension initiatives.
