Climate Action Plan

The fight against climate change requires broad mobilization, and Cooperative Extension stands poised to make a difference. How can we mobilize the U.S. Cooperative Extension system to quickly and effectively contribute to climate change solutions? This subgroup dives into how we can harness the strength of our network to swiftly and effectively implement solutions.

NEW! Weekly Climate Office Hours For Climate PAT Working Group Members

We’re excited to announce a new learning and accountability offering for any members or co-chairs of the Climate PAT’s four climate action Working Groups!

Would you benefit from weekly opportunities to brainstorm, get outside perspectives, overcome obstacles, or make progress on your biggest Working Group goals?

If you said “Yes!” to any of those questions, you are invited to participate in twice weekly Climate Office Hours with Nate Birt, NTAE key informant. From March through mid-September 2025, Nate will be available for 1:1 and group conversations – no breakout rooms, just one open discussion where collaboration and creative thinking are encouraged.

Office Hours are available at these times and dates - simply click the link to join or create a recurring meeting reminder on your calendar:

Tuesdays: 11 to noon CT/noon to 1 p.m. ET (Zoom link)

Thursdays: 3 to 4 p.m. CT/4 to 5 p.m. ET (Zoom link).

This will be a low-stress, high-engagement/high learning environment for Extension professionals to navigate tricky aspects of their climate action work with greater clarity, confidence, and momentum.

See you there!
