Climate Action Plan

The fight against climate change requires broad mobilization, and Cooperative Extension stands poised to make a difference. How can we mobilize the U.S. Cooperative Extension system to quickly and effectively contribute to climate change solutions? This subgroup dives into how we can harness the strength of our network to swiftly and effectively implement solutions.

AFRI FAS RFA is up!

This year's AFRI FAS RFA is now available and can be found HERE. 

Of particular relevance for this subgroup is section 7f. Regional Partnerships for Climate Extension and Education, which involves Extension Projects or Integrated (research and extension, or extension and education) Projects only.

Including indirect costs: $1,000,000 for Standard Grants and Strengthening Standard Grants and New Investigator Standard Grants

Due dates are: 2025: Thursday, September 4, 2025 (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time); 2026: Thursday, September 3, 2026 (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time).

There is also new food waste and food loss opportunities under 7f and a new section, 7i.
