Rat snakes are often considered a predator to poultry flocks, but at the same time they are a form of natural pest control. Rat snakes and poultry flocks will be discussed by Anna Wiker, Kentucky Master Naturalist Outreach Coordinator in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources of the University of Kentucky. She did a general presentation on rat snakes and natural pest control through her department's outreach program.
