Presenter:
Rachel is a Lecturer in Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Weill Cornell Medicine. Rachel is passionate about empowering people with diabetes develop sustainable lifestyle changes and leverage diabetes technology and digital health to improve their health and quality of life. In her clinical role, she provides diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for adults in both individual and group settings. Rachel currently serves as Technology Chair of the Diabetes Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is the proud recipient of the 2022 Rising Star Award from Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists.
