Immigrants and Cooperative Extension: Opportunity and Challenge

There is no question that Extension agents seek to serve all residents of their respective states and yet progress in serving recently arrived immigrants is scantly documented. Perhaps it is not being done well enough? Before discussing the how or seeking best practices, this presentation will establish the background, the obstacles, the necessity, and the opportunities to fulfill Extension's mission among the various populations we call immigrants.
