Health Equity Edit-a-thon with Montana State University Library

Please join the USDA National Agricultural Library, Montana State University (MSU) Library, and MSU's Diversity and Inclusion Student Commons (DISC) on January 24th from noon to 5:00 pm ET for a health-equity presentation and Wikipedia edit-a-thon. The first part of the program will examine healthcare disparities for historically excluded communities, transitional and transient populations, and those in rural areas who may live in healthcare deserts. Students and other speakers will share their experiences and advocacy work related to health equity and accessing health and nutrition resources. After the presentations, participants are invited to help edit health access and equity articles. Prior editing experience is optional, and experienced Wikipedians will be on hand to assist with editing.

The event will be both in-person in the MSU Library and virtual via Zoom. REGISTER HERE. Full day attendance is not required.
