Animal manures are an important source of nutrients for vegetable and fruit production, particularly for food grown under organic certification. Join on us as three experts across the U.S. share federal guidelines related to use of animal manures for food production, and practices that promote food safety while using animal manures. You will learn about experiences with manures, compost, irrigation water, and factors that are important to keep our food safe.
An application for continuing education credit for Certified Crop Advisors (CCAs) and members of the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) will be submitted.
