Exploring the Low FODMAP Diet
Join Sherri M. Cirignano, MS, RDN, LDN - FCHS Educator & Associate Professor one Wednesday August 30th at 12:30pm as she discusses Exploring the Low FODMAP Diet. The FODMAP elimination diet is becoming a mainstream solution for gut health but is not for everyone. FODMAP is an acronym for the carbohydrates found in many of the foods we eat that some people have a difficult time digesting. Each of these carbohydrate types may be a trigger for the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Learn about the basics of the diet including food types, methods for following the diet, as well as the adequacy, safety and potential benefits of the diet.
