As part of eXtensionβs New Technologies for Agricultural Extension (NTAE) Year 1 Cooperative Agreement with USDA-NIFA, the eXtension Foundation created a Using Digital Technology eFieldbook which recently became available. The eFieldbook includes perspective pieces with a future focus, and discussion about two technologies: Connect Extension, a social intranet, and Instagram. The eFieldbook provides original and curated resources in a number of areas, including science communications, web accessibility, leveraging content, and more. Content for the eFieldbook was informed in part by a survey with more than 300 respondents, and the COVID-19 crisis, which increased demand for social media content and training relating to our work in Cooperative Extension.
Join @Rose Hayden-Smith (eXtension Foundation Education Technology Fellow), @Ashley Griffin (eXtension Foundation eFieldbook producer and project manager), and Jerold Thomas (Ohio State University) for a panel discussion to learn more about the key takeaways and findings of this project.
