About the webinar: This webinar “Community Strategies for Water Supply in the Bakken Region” discusses results and insights into a recent study that addressed water scarcity and the rapid increase in the demand for community, rural, and industrial water supply in the Bakken region.

Presented by Dr. Robert Hearne, an Associate Professor in the Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics at North Dakota State University and  Felix Fernando who is completing his PhD in Natural Resources Management with a focus on Sociology and Economics from NDSU.

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members.
