Campus Nav Mobile App Implementation

Led by Professor Sandy Stephenson at Southwest Virginia Community College, the GeoTEd team (www.geoted.org) completed development of mobile app for campus navigation designed to support colleges and universities. CampusNav makes campus navigation simple by using the current location of the mobile device, choosing locations from list boxes or by scanning QR codes on maps and landmarks. A map and walking directions are then provided on the mobile device. The app also provides access to floor plans of buildings for indoor navigation on campuses that have completed Google Indoor Maps.
