Technology use during the COVID-19 quarantine saw a significant surge as people relied on digital tools for work, education, and social connection. Remote working software, online learning platforms, and video conferencing apps became essential. This period also highlighted the importance of internet access as a utility, and accelerated the adoption of telehealth services .
