Professional Standards in School Foodservice: How Smarter Lunchrooms Can Help

During this webinar, Kathryn Hoy, Manager of the Cornell Center for Behavioral Economics in Child Nutrition Programs, will introduce and briefly review the new Professional Standards for State and Local School Nutrition Programs Personnel as required by the Healthy Hunger-Free Kid Act of 2010. She will provide a basic overview of the learning topics and learning objectives in addition to introducing Smarter Lunchrooms resources, tools and curriculum which can be used to meet the new regulations.

Learning Objectives:



  • Participants will be able to identify the professional standards learning topics
  • Participants will be able to identify professional standards learning objectives
  • Participants will be able to identify at least 3 Smarter Lunchrooms resources available to meet new regulations

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators.
