Money Management During a Family Transition Webinar

Do you provide education or services to families who have experienced a family transition like divorce or separation? Do you need more information to understand the importance that money management can play in families’ transition journeys? If so, then the Money Management During a Family Transition Webinar is for you!

Sharon Powell and Jennifer Garbow, University of Minnesota Extension Educators, will provide an overview about money management in this short webinar. In this webinar, you will:

  • Examine how family finances evolve before, during, and after a family transition
  • Identify ways families can protect themselves financially
  • Discuss common financial pitfalls parents may experience during a family transition

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs. The Foundation provides professional development to Cooperative Extension professionals and offers exclusive services to its members.
