Part 1: Supporting Youth Mental Health β An Adult Volunteer Training Program
This presentation will share the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Wisconsin 4-H adult volunteer training program, Supporting Youth Mental Health. Designed to ensure safe and supportive youth experiences, the program seeks to teach adults critical skills around identifying and responding to youth that might be experiencing a mental health concern as well as reduce the barriers to obtaining these skills that are posed in other more intense and lengthy programs. A comparative evaluation was conducted, and these results will be discussed during this session as well.
