The Ins and Outs of the Learn Calendar on Connect Extension

Aaron Weibe ·
I’ve received a number of GREAT questions about the Learn calendar here on Connect Extension. What is it? Who can use it? What’s the value in using it? I thought it would also be helpful to explain some of the things that are happening on the backend that many might not be aware of - and how you, as Cooperative Extension professionals, can take advantage of that with ease! I typically remove the “Register Here” button and replace it with “Recording...

Re: GET MORE GRATITUDE!

Debra Sweeten ·
This post included some questions to assist with reflection on gratitude. I've never seen these type of questions before in any of the multitude of articles on gratitude that I've seen over the years. I shared this on facebook. I copied it into my calendar, as a recurring appointment each Monday morning, so I can purposefully reflect on gratitude each week throughout the end of the year.

Growth!

The hardest part of leadership development is behavior change. It's hard, not impossible. Haven't met a single person who isn't capable of interpersonal behavior change. We all can do it! Step #1 is awareness. If we're not aware we can't put efforts in place to make meaningful growth happen. Feedback is the breakfast of Champions! Step #2 is don't be so hard on yourself. We will all mess up. Great leadership is allowing people to fail but not allowing them to feel like a failure along the...
