Attend this session to learn how to utilize resources that are available from the Take Action program in your extension programming.  Take Action is a nationwide program combating the challenges of herbicide resistant weeds.

Presenters will take you through the four sections of the Take Action website, then will cover lesson plans and teaching materials that have been developed for use in your extension program, and will finally cover how to request educational materials.

Presenters will include:
  • Jeanne Falk Jones - K-State Research and Extension
  • Alicia Harstad - North Dakota State University Extension Service
  • Aaron Nygren - Nebraska Extension
  • Aaron Saeugling - Iowa State Extension
These materials were developed by the presenters as part of the North Central Region Cropping Systems Academy.

The recording of this session is available for viewing at https://connect.unl.edu/p14rihdqof1/

If you would like to access the materials, please go to http://go.unl.edu/weedresistancematerials. Once you have completed a short four question survey, you will receive a link to access the materials in a Google Drive folder.  You are free to download and use the materials as you would like, we just ask that credit be given to the North Central Region Cropping Systems Academy.
