Landscaping to Reduce Insurance Claims

Learn how to establish and maintain a landscape that is disaster resilient and that will help reduce your insurance claims when there is a disaster. Presenter Beau Brodbeck will talk about wind resilient trees and design considerations for wind resilience. He'll also help you learn about identifying potentially hazardous trees.

Beau Brodbeck is a Forestry, Wildlife and Natural Resource Management Regional Extension Agent with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES).

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs.
