Improving Health and Sustainability Outcomes through Meatless Monday

Becky Ramsing, MPH, RDN is a senior program officer with the Food Communities and Public Health Program at the Center for a Livable Future at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Becky will discuss the health and environmental benefits of Meatless Monday, why Monday can be the best day for health behavior change, and how you can successfully bring a Meatless Monday program to your school/community.

-    Access and adapt materials and resources for implementing Meatless Monday
-    Develop a plan to implement and maintain Meatless Monday in their school, organization or community

About the Extension Foundation

The Extension Foundation was formed in 2006 by Extension Directors and Administrators. Today, the Foundation partners with Cooperative Extension through liaison roles and a formal plan of work with the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) to increase system capacity while providing programmatic services, and helping Extension programs scale and investigate new methods and models for implementing programs.
