The SEED Method: An Evidence-Based Method for Engaging Communities

The SEED Method is a multi-stakeholder approach to engaging communities in research, problem solving, and action planning. Developed at Virginia Commonwealth University, SEED provides a framework for collaborative research and action planning that can be scaled up or down depending on project resources and goals.

Webinar 3: Stakeholder Topic Groups: Bringing Community Expertise to the Table

This is the third webinar in the series, The SEED Method: An Evidence-Based Method for Engaging Communities. It will provide details of the activities of stakeholders selected by the community research team to participate in stakeholder Topic Groups. The Topic Groups go through a facilitated process of developing conceptual models of the issue being addressed by the project, develop strategies to address the issue, and prioritize these strategies. The process and tools used in the SEED Method for each of these activities will be discussed.
