This is the second webinar in the series, The SEED Method: An Evidence-Based Method for Engaging Communities. It will provide details about the role of the community research team that collaboratively leads the activities throughout the project. We will cover forming the community research team and facilitating their activities. The webinar will review the community based participatory principles that are applied when establishing the team, and the process and tools of the SEED Method used by the team throughout the project.
The SEED Method is a multi-stakeholder approach to engaging communities in research, problem solving, and action planning. Developed at Virginia Commonwealth University, SEED provides a framework for collaborative research and action planning that can be scaled up or down depending on project resources and goals.
