National Extension Climate Initiative

The National Extension Climate Initiative serves to link climate change-related education and research across Extension program areas and associations. This subgroup acts as a place to share opportunities and resources, and discuss all things related to climate change extension.

Reply to "PD Committee description"

Given that nature-based solutions (NbS) are closely connected to climate mitigation and resilience-building, particularly in urban areas, what are the chances of integrating certification in those concepts and their use into PD?  Perhaps we could utilize the course Urban Nature: Connecting Cities, Sustainability and Innovation from Lund University, on Coursera, https://www.coursera.org/learn...n=sustainable-cities as a model, or at least use it to inform our certification.
