Extension as a Catalyst to Community-University Engagement

This group is geared for people employed by Extension who are tasked to do community-university engagement. The purpose of the group is to bring these people together to share resources, celebrate successes, and trouble shoot challenges.

Preparing for Our First Community of Practice Zoom Meeting

We’re thrilled to be gearing up for our very first Community of Practice Zoom meeting focused on Extension as a Catalyst to Community-University Engagement! This group brings together Extension professionals like you who are actively involved in fostering partnerships between universities and their surrounding communities. Whether you’re an old hand or new to the role, this space is designed for sharing resources, celebrating successes, and tackling challenges—together.

Here’s a sneak peek at our agenda:

1. Connection before Content – We’ll start by getting comfortable and connected.
2. Setting Our Intention – Together, we’ll set the tone by discussing why we’re here and what we each hope to gain from our collaboration.
3. Exploring What’s Working – Let’s dive into what’s working in the realm of community-university engagement. We’ll also identify key priorities moving forward.
4. Future Topics – To wrap up, we’ll brainstorm topics for future meetings, ensuring this space stays relevant to your needs.

We can’t wait to see you all, hear your ideas, and learn from your experiences. Let’s make this the beginning of an exciting journey of collaboration and growth!
