Resilient Housing Planning Guide Workbook Training

virtual

Join us for a free one-hour training session on the new Resilient Housing PlanningGuide and Workbook. This training has been designed to provide extension professionals with the information they need to share the Guide with the communities they support. The Housing Guide is a tool created to assist communities in better understanding their risks, identifying mitigation and land use planning strategies, and providing feedback to consultants. By empowering communities to preplan and adapt housing to future and current risks, they can expedite access to funding and focus on rebuilding efforts. Smart Home America, the Mississippi State Gulf CoastCommunity Design Center, the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, and partners, including theMississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium and theGulf of Mexico Alliance, created the Resilient HousingPlanning Guide with funding from the EPA Gulf ofMexico Program. Fannie Mae supported the development of the Housing Guide Workbook.
