The Impact Collaborative conducted a fantastic three-day Summit centered around Climate Resilience on January 17, 18, and 19th! Twenty-eight new Project and Program teams across Cooperative Extension representing thirty-four institutions attended the Project Acceleration Summit via Zoom This was one of our largest Summits to date, with 130 people in attendance. During the three days, teams attended special keynote speaker sessions and were connected with skills, tools, resources, Coaches, and Key Informants during team time, allowing them to achieve breakthroughs and accelerate their project impact.
Thank you to all of the keynote speakers for inspiring and informing participants on how climate resiliency may be integrated into your project/program and to the coaches and key informants that guided the teams!
At the end of the Summit each team presented their project or program to other participants, Facilitator Coaches, Key Informants, and other Extension Foundation staff for a Project Showcase.
Summit Results and Feedback
The majority of participants stated they gained fresh perspectives on how climate resilience relates to their jobs, according to replies from participants, and their teams made substantial progress from participating the Summit.
Highlights of the participant feedback evaluation include:
- 100% of teams agreed that the Impact Collaborative Project Acceleration Summit increased clarity in project goals
- 100% of teams said they would recommend the Impact Collaborative Summit to others
- 100% of teams agreed the Impact Collaborative Project Acceleration Summit has accelerated team growth and development
- The parts of the Summit participants that they found most helpful were dedicated team time, coaches, and expert key informants
